Pervenio wins 1st prize ‘Best Business’ Award for 2003/4 Genesis Enterprise Programme
March 1st 2004. At the evening’s annual awards for the 2003/4 Genesis Enterprise programme, Pervenio was honoured with Best Business award. The GEP awards, sponsored and judged by Allied Irish Bank, Ernst and Young and Magellan Partners, recognise leading Entrepreneurs in the south of Ireland and achievements over past 12 months. Of the five finalists on the evening Pervenio was awarded ‘Best Business’. The Minister for the Trade and Commerce Mr Michael Ahern presented the awards at the Cork City Hall before an invited audience drawn from the Irish business communities.
Ian Deakin Managing Director of Pervenio accepted the award, saying “Pervenio is delighted to receive this award which recognises the remarkable progress which we have made over the past year. It is a great tribute to the hard work and dedication of all the team and I look forward to continued success in the future."
The Genesis Enterprise Programme provides high potential entrepreneurs with an accelerated incubation programme to support their new business over a one year period. The programme is backed by Cork Institute of Technology with Enterprise Ireland in conjunction with regional partners ITT Tralee, Cork University and Cork Business Innovation centre.
